When i put in the Remote Key Starter,The ignition is turned ON. I have one mercedes w203 with a fault in eis. When the unit is returned to you, you will not be required to.

You can run Mercedes EZS test for both old (Motorola based EZS) and new (NEC based EIS) units without the car, just connect it with the EIZ ELV test cables and test the EIS or test the keys if they are working & program or repair the steering lock ELV. I reconnected the linkage and put the shifter into gear using the bypass on the shifter but got nothing in D or R.
